Design Build Heliport Lighting & Vault

The existing Heliport at Aberdeen Proving Grounds utilized solar powered stake mounted lights along the runway edge which provided unreliable and inconsistent flight-line delineations at best and limited overall operational capability. This project provided new edge lighting, taxiway lighting, and heliport landing zone lighting along with a new Heliport Lighting Vault and emergency Power system.

UNIQUE ATTRIBUTES: This project was able to repurpose an existing unusable aircraft runway for conversion to a fully usable Heliport.
