Cape Fox Mountain Point was awarded a C-contract with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Mobile District in support of the design-bid-build construction to repair the Electrical Z Line. Cape Fox MP will partner with Panhandle Power Solutions (PPS) to provide work to replace 15kV overhead feeder Z-Line. The project consists of replacing existing medium voltage overhead distribution lines with an underground power distribution system. This project will address 25% of the installation’s outages. Following the completion of the installation of the underground system, the overhead lines will be demolished. We’re thrilled to work together with Cape Fox and get some power in the ground!
