This May, as we observe National Military Appreciation Month, we are spotlighting some amazing PPS employees whose contributions to our country are beyond measure.
PPS veteran and active-duty team members:
Maj. Sam Taylor, United States Air Force, Commander, 310th Security Forces Squadron
Prior to joining PPS as General Counsel, Sam served 24 years in the United States Air Force.
As the 310th Security Forces Squadron Commander, he led, guided, and directed the security forces personnel under his command and was responsible for ensuring the unit’s readiness and mission success.
Chief Master Sgt. Casey Karins, United States Air Force Reserve, Senior Enlisted Leader, 310th Security Forces Squadron.
As the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 310th Security Forces Squadron at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado, Casey oversees the morale, welfare, readiness, training, and professional development of 84 Security Forces airmen. Additionally, he advises the squadron commander on Force Protection, Air Base Ground Defense, and all matters affecting the enlisted force. Casey joined the United States Armed Forces as an infantry marine in 2002. He has been a member of the PPS team since 2017 as the Vice President of Operations.
Senior Master Sergeant Jacob McClain, United States Air Force
Jacob served in the United States Air Force for 22 years before joining PPS as a Project Manager. During this time, he handled operational management for the electrical power production and distribution industry, including five years as a Civil Engineer Professional Instructor of Wartime Tasks and Operations, and three years as a Civil Engineer Command and Control Instructor.
Staff Sgt. Jeff Ehnen, United States Marine Corps, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician
Jeff served in the United States Marine Corps for 22 years before joining PPS three years ago as an Apprentice Electrician. His duties as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician included locating, accessing, identifying, rendering safe, and disposing of hazards from improvised explosive devices and unexploded ordnance.
Petty Officer First Class Mick Woodworth, United States Navy, Nuclear Reactor Technician
Mick is a Preconstruction Manager at PPS and served in the U.S. Navy for six years before joining our team. During this time, he worked as a Nuclear Reactor Technician, operating and maintaining the nuclear reactors onboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65) before she was decommissioned.
Today, we also recognize PPS Foreman, Randy Lewis and one for our newest team members, Rick Waters, for their dedication and commitment to our country.
